Club and Golfcourt

The golf club Dueren e.V. opened in June 1976 with - at that time - 9 holes and extended it to 1996 to a fastidious place as 18 holes course. The first three and the last six holes are embedded into an old park landscape, whose appearance and playing requirement are shaped by centuries old oaks.

The remaining holes lie in an open park-landscape and regarding the length of the course and the usually prevailing west wind the player has to show his best shots.

Although the court with a length of 6.089/5.278 meter and a slope of 138 (gentlemen) and 132 (ladies) belongs to the most difficult places in Germany, it leaves apart from the challenge to good golfers also high and middle "handicapers" a fair chance.

Dogs are not allowed either on the golfcourt or in the area of the clubhhouse.

Guests are gladly seen at the court, driving range and in the modern club house
(prefered after previous telephone contact Telefon +49 (0)2421 67278).

For more than 750 members so far a reservation of starting times (tee-times) is not necessary. The golf-traditional club with a sportily, friendly atmosphere accepts still members on request.
