"Distance measuring" A player may receive information about distances by using equipment, that ist provided for distance measuring. If a player uses during the determined round equipment, with provides other information than distances, this offends against rule 14-3, for which the punishment is disqualification, regardless whether the additional function was used or not. |

| If a ball is embedded into its own impact hole in the ground, sandy ground excepted in the area, then it may unpunished be taken up, cleaned and dropped as close as possible the point, where it layed, however not nearer to the hole. When being dropped, the ball must first hit part of the golfcourt. |
| By wild pigs strongly damaged ranges are ground under repair. The ball can be taken up unpunished to get relief according to rule 25-1. |

"Rule - water birds and excrements If excrement sticks to the ball, the ball may be marked, taken up, cleaned and put back unpunished. This is valid for the entire place, excluded obstacles. If the conditions of a player or the situation of the ball are obstructed by the excrement, then unpunished relief may be taken. The nearest point must be determined, (not more near to the flag). If the conditions or the area of the intended swing of a player are obstructed by water birds, it may take so far relief up that the handicap is no longer given. In dangerous situations the ball may be replaced if necessary. In both cases the ball in the area is left to fall and put down on the green. |

Freshly in-sown, freshly with grass or not with grass repaired drainages are
ground under repair, from which play is not permitted. Rule 25-1 must be used. |
| Wheel and tread marks of machines and other court care devices, as well as place damage by drainage ditches are ground under repair (GUR) ! Rule 25 applies. |

Protection of young Rhododendren.
